These... aren't very helpful. At all.

[ The sound of Winry slamming a book shut can be heard. Because of Mayfield wonkiness, she can't find the medical books that she wants in the library, which is beginning to frustrate her. The books she brought home don't have a scrap of medical knowledge in them. ]

The library can't seriously only have cooking books and things on becoming a better housewife, can it? I can't imagine this place forcing boys to study up on that...

Uh... This is a weird request, but does anyone know if the library has some medical books or journals or anything like that? I'm sorta curious about what sorta medical advances this place has, but I think I'm gonna need help getting books on that.... I'd really appreciate it.

They play to your stereotypes, that's why I can't find anything else besides stuff like comic books and Hardy Boys. [Sigh] That's why you can't find anything else besides books on being a housewife.

This is the worst library I've ever seen, without a doubt. It's so...so...ignorant. I can't stand it.

Should try asking some of the doctors and whatnot round here, some could have gotten their books back and whatnot.

Though I only say that because I wouldn't trust anything medical related from the library, not to mention it's probably really outdated.

Knowledge is powerful, so taking it away leaves us without a tool. It's normal in wars for armies to burn down enemy libraries and things like that.
