001 → Arrival
[ Waking up in a strange house that was not her own was not how Winry wanted to start her day. She immediately rolled out of the bed and scrambled about in confusion with a very realistic list of priorities, including "Whose pajamas are these?!" and "Wh-who changed my clothes?!". And all ending with a pajama-clad girl picking up the nearest phone and just... dialing. She really isn't sure to call. ]
[ phone ]
U-um... Hey! Hey there, wh-whoever you are, uh... I think I've been kidnapped! I'm in a strange room with someone else's clothes on a-and this is just really not good.
[ hesitation. Winry replays everything she just heard in her head and realizes how stupid she sounds when in a panic. ] S-sorry, you know what? Wrong number. [ And now she's preparing to call someone else, hoping to form sentences better next time and sound more believable. ] What do I do, what do I do... Why would anyone kidnap me? Aaah, and who changed my clothes for me? Ew ew ew, I can't believe this is happeing!

How did...? Ed..!

I don't know. When I got here it was just... gone. My leg, too. Even the scars from the surgery are gone. There's a lot about this place that sucks, but... this is one change I can get used to.

I don't care why it happened. Just thank goodness... Ed, this is great.

Heh, yeah. It's not too bad all things considered. [And he'll just wipe some of those tears off her face with that hand] So did I keep my promise? I said the next time I made you cry those tears would be tears of joy.

I-I've still been kidnapped, you know...! Where is "here" anyway? Edward, what's g-going on?
no subject
C'mon, let's go inside and I'll explain what I can, ok?

[ But she'll go inside anyway. Look at how much she trusts you, Ed.
Though she is a bit uncomfortable, so don't mind Winry as she grabs his no-longer-automail hand. ]
I don't really know where anything is here anyway. It's full of weird things...

[Oh that hand? Yeah sure, go ahead. It's not like he notices at all. Nope. Definitely doesn't notice a thing when she takes his hand. NOPE.AVI.
He heads into the kitchen and takes a seat at the table, pulling out a slightly crumbled pamphlet out of his pocket.]
Go ahead and read this.

[ She reads it once.
Then again.
Three times to be safe. ]
You're kidding...

A lot more has happened since I got this. You were actually here for about a week or so when I first got here. And then... then you weren't.

She looks at him with an unintentionally pitying gaze. That must have been rough. ]
But I don't remember any of that... But I guess that means my "drone" was walking around town..?
no subject
Yeah. It was... it was unsettling, honestly. It was you -- had your face and everything, but it didn't act like you or sound like you. Same thing happened with me, apparently. I've been here a few times before, but I don't remember any of it.

How do we get out..?

[ Congrats, Winry! You've learned the concept of a jamjar RP. ]

... Yeah.
