I knew we were getting something from home but I never expected something like this...  Good thing I just remembered this guy or I'd be really unsure what to do with him. I just hope that me getting Den doesn't mean Granny'll have to worry about both of us.

Good thing I just changed my job to something that pays well. I could cut corners when feeding myself but I can't do that for Den. I'll have to go buy him some dog food and stuff...

Yep! I really missed Den. Though his automail leg's joint is a bit out of alignment, so I'll have to fix that before I can take him on a walk...

Yeah, he's had it since he was a little puppy. Luckily it's pretty simple so I'll be able to give it maintenance. He's a good dog too. You should come meet him!

[Den barks in greeting and waits to be pet. He's pretty friendly.] Ah yes, that's his automail leg. He lost his real leg when he was a puppy, so my grandmother and I made him a replacement.

Yeah. I got my dog from home, Den. He's got an automail leg and it looks exactly like something I'd make so I have no doubt that it's really him.

Yeah, when he was a puppy he lost his leg... But he's all right now. Thanks to his automail he can live a normal life now.
