Hey, I'm not sure if anyone's noticed, but Ed's back now. He's been back for a while actually... I know it's awful and selfish of me, but I'm really glad to have him here too, but... He doesn't remember being in Mayfield. It's like that year we spent here never happened for him... It's confusing... I'm not used to being the one that knows more than him about stuff like this, and so much happened, I'm not sure how to treat him now that's he's forgotten...

Has something like this happened to anyone else? Having someone they knew here forget ever being in Mayfield?

Hey, um... [ she's noticeably hesitant, not sure why she's even calling. Other than because she's worried. Gah, talking to him is harder than usual now. ]  How're you settling in? Thought I'd check in. Have you met your family yet? I hope they're keeping you fed and everything...

[ Winry has started hanging back after school as long as she can, usually finishing assignments in her classroom or wandering through the library before she heads home. You might notice her;
A) Staying late after school, even when everyone else has gone home.
or
B) Poking around the library curiously.
Housemates might also notice her new pattern. ]

Mm... We've always been good friends, but I felt like... somehow, we got closer. He told me more than he usually does... it'll be weird going back to before he did that...

"It's funny... this town really does have a way of bringing people closer together like that. I think everyone's so on edge the whole time that it's just nice to have someone you really know you can trust with anything."

Yeah... geez, if I didn't have Keiichi and you, I'd have gone crazy so long ago. I just hope Ed can make friends again so he doesn't go crazy.
